Awami League Jahangir voted!
Awami League nominated mayor candidate Jahangir Alam voted in Gazipur City Corporation election.
On Tuesday, at 9.35 am, he voted at the Kenya Government Primary School center in Ward No. 30 of the city.
After the voting, Jahangir Alam said, Gazipur people will vote for me as a public servant.
I have directed my supporters and workers to cooperate so that the voters of the polling stations can vote freely.
Asked whether he will accept the defeat or defeat, he said, "Whatever the victories and defeats as a politician, the people should accept the verdict."
Earlier, polling began at 8,115 in the 425 centers of the city on Tuesday. It will continue until 4 pm.
In the election, seven candidates for the post of Mayor, 254 for general councilor posts and 84 candidates for reserved women councilors are competing.
In the elections, 11,37,737 voters will vote for a mayor, 57 general and councilor for 19 reserved wards.
