Awami League's new central office ready!
If everything is okay, the new central office of Awami League of Bangabandhu Avenue will be inaugurated on 23rd June. On the 69th anniversary of the party, party activities will start in the new building by cutting the cake. It's already finished construction work.
Now we are working on grass and decoration. The deployment of the office of the party president, general secretary, praesidium, editorial and associate organization is almost in the final phase.
The world-class party office has been built with its own funding. The whole office will be under the wifi zone.
Awami League office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap told Bangladesh daily, on 23rd June, the founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami League. The possibility of the opening of the central office on that day.
On condition of anonymity, a member of the Awami League Presidium said that on the establishment anniversary of one of the old political parties of the subcontinent, which is formed through movement and struggle, we will start the party's activities at the new office.
The construction work of the 10-storey modern office of 23 Bangabandhu Avenue of Gulistan was inaugurated on 23 June last year. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of the new building with its own funding.
Earlier, on July 17, 2016, the building of the old building was started. Awami League Presidium Member and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain were present during the overall supervision of the new building.

It is learned that the old office of Awami League 23, the four-storey building of Bangabandhu Avenue, could not be completed during the 1996-2001 period. After taking office in 2009, the initiative was taken again.
After taking the lease process, the group took the initiative to construct a new building in 2011. Later, on 6 April 2016, the new building of the new office approved the party's president Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Awami League's general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam instructed all associate-organisations of the party located in the building of Bangabandhu Avenue to remove the office by May 30 of that year.
After 15 July, the deadline was given. According to the instructions, after the transfer of all the offices, the old establishment began to break on July 17 that year.
Since the establishment in 1949, the incident of the transfer of Awami League has happened several times. On 23 June 1949, the Awami League made its debut in Rose Garden, KM Das Lane of old Dhaka.

After reviving Awami League on 25 January 1964, the then General Secretary Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman took office on 91, Nawabpur Road. After a few days, temporarily sitaragatera Rupimahal cinema hall lanes sit for some days.
Later, there were long office hours in two places in Purana Paltan. Independence-North 122, Circuit House Road was the office of the Awami League for a while.
